Hey G5GTI05 Yeah I have been running on the Upsolute software for 13 000km's and I am enjoying it. The only slight issue I had was the DSG map was not put on and the gear changes were slightly jerky, once updated it was smooth. I also have found that the gear changes are so much quicker with the software.

The DV was a bit problematic and so I put one that Upsolute supply which is a mechanical one, the boost holds nicely.

Must be something with my car then, i land up being in limp mode quite often when i try to gas it after a long period without using the turbo (long period i mean on the highway for 2 minutes or so). Well they told me its me fuel pump now, so i am taking it in on monday to VW. If this doesnt solve the problem, im going to go back to stock and by process of elimination determine whats going on.. cos its frustrating having to pull over on the highway and "REBOOT" my car lol.

I have the same problem with the neutral to first knocking, it only happens if the cars rolling a little bit before you put it in first.

I dont understand your other question but im having a problem with something similar.

If I snap change from first to second theres a flat spot, the revs drop to 3500 so im in turbo territory but theres no thrust...
It only happened recently, is there something wrong or is it normal?
It only happens sometimes...

Except for double clutching what else could I do to fix it? DOnt have faith in this thing anymore:(

Guys guys guys let me just quickly clear up all your "issues" for you. The first, only and biggest problem with your cars is unfortunatly the fact that its a VW :rolleyes: duh

That's a very retarded thing to say, especially coming from a Mazda driver. Mazda will never be better than it's rivals, including Tata :D

The MPS is indeed quicker but how about the overall package? If you can prove it then I'll relinquish my VW Fanboy status :)

Its an ugly car and dont give me that the look of the car is subjective, the car is vomit ugly, thats why its not selling!!

Well... its all about taste i think, some ppl would like the shape/exterior or interior of the one or other and thats fine.

But deeper than that i think the Jap machine would be more reliable and parts would be cheaper also Jap mods are cheap and easy to get if thats your thing.

Myself i'm not a fanboy of the one or other, just sensible, i would by the VW if i thought it was better and as i said i LOVE the engine in it! :)

Weird i like the front, the bonnet and the rear but dont like the side view that much. The general shape of the VW has never changed, its fine and all just a bit boring. I understand you dont change something that works :) But live a little!

The Mazda has zero sex appeal, it just doesnt do anything for me...

Its kinda nice actually, seems more rare on the road than Porsches.
I'm sure it sells very well in Japan, Aus & the US maybe Canada, donno didnt check. :)
