I need to dyno my car, which tuner has the most reliable dyno ?
I used JMS in Benoni. But I have no idea how accurate it was.... But it only cost R150 for a reading. I ran twice to compare.

Has everyone disappeared? Rather quite in here......
I asked the same question... So when does it happen at Tarlton? I'll go....
I see you running Upsolute Software and DV? Have you had any hassles with it? What DV did u put?
Hey G5GTI05 Yeah I have been running on the Upsolute software for 13 000km's and I am enjoying it. The only slight issue I had was the DSG map was not put on and the gear changes were slightly jerky, once updated it was smooth. I also have found that the gear changes are so much quicker with the software.
The DV was a bit problematic and so I put one that Upsolute supply which is a mechanical one, the boost holds nicely.
My car seems to be doing two weird things for about a week now.
When i change gears, it takes a little longer for the revs to drop.
Eg. when changing from first to second, if i change at say 4000 rpm, when i press the clutch in the revs seem to take longer to drop. Any idea whats causing this?
Second thing, sometimes when i change from neutral to 1, i hear this slight knock coming from the front of the car.
Mileage around 40K, i drive hard sometimes, but not always![]()
Guys guys guys let me just quickly clear up all your "issues" for you. The first, only and biggest problem with your cars is unfortunatly the fact that its a VW
I have the same problem with the neutral to first knocking, it only happens if the cars rolling a little bit before you put it in first.
I dont understand your other question but im having a problem with something similar.
If I snap change from first to second theres a flat spot, the revs drop to 3500 so im in turbo territory but theres no thrust...
It only happened recently, is there something wrong or is it normal?
It only happens sometimes...
Except for double clutching what else could I do to fix it? DOnt have faith in this thing anymore![]()

lol or even a Hyundai for that matter!.... sorted
This category produced one of the closest fights ever in the history of the International Engine of the Year Awards. Volkswagen/Audi’s 2-litre Turbo FSI won the 1.8- to 2-litre class by more than 100 points in 2007, the third year in a row that it had come out on top. But in 2008, the unit, which is found in many different vehicles across the Volkswagen Group, faced a strong challenge from two new diesel powerplants: Subaru’s groundbreaking Boxer and BMW’s acclaimed 2-litre twin-turbo unit.
When all the votes had been counted, however, the defending champion triumphed once again, scraping home just two points ahead of the BMW engine installed in the 123d. New jury member Nikos Kounitis summed up the dilemma: “On one hand we had the exceptional TFSI; on the other was the best diesel, BMW’s new twin turbo. I really appreciated the diesel, but decided to stick to the gasoline engine because its smoothness and adaptability in any vehicle remains unbeatable

That's a very retarded thing to say, especially coming from a Mazda driver. Mazda will never be better than it's rivals, including Tata![]()
I'm not saying anything about that engine, infact its an AMAZING engine and i'd love to have it in my car(non-mps) maybe in all(excluding mps) my cars even.
Did i ever say that i'm a Mazda driver?
3MPS(R260000) would infact give that overpriced($$$geez) VW of yours a hectic beating!

Well... its all about taste i think, some ppl would like the shape/exterior or interior of the one or other and thats fine. The MPS is indeed quicker but how about the overall package? If you can prove it then I'll relinquish my VW Fanboy status![]()
Weird i like the front, the bonnet and the rear but dont like the side view that much. The general shape of the VW has never changed, its fine and all just a bit boring. I understand you dont change something that worksIts an ugly car and dont give me that the look of the car is subjective, the car is vomit ugly, thats why its not selling!!
Its kinda nice actually, seems more rare on the road than Porsches. Why has Mazda sold 5 MPS's compared to VW's 50000 GTI's?
