AFAIK that pretty much only because of the club 3D cards otherwise pricing for them would also be above RRP.

R2000 + is not a relatively good price point. The 5850's are about R300 above RRP as are the 5870's(except the club3D ones). Maybe when the 5850 from club 3D arrive in SA then the prices will be more "even".
