Good Antivirus Question (Yes another such topic)

Hello Guise,

I have a question. I bought 3PC Lisence Kaspersky Antivirus earlier this year for R210. That worked out R70 per lisence I sold the other 2 at my office.

I was really happy when I saw Kaspersky selling at a 50% discount! Afterall it ranks as within the top 5 when last I checked.

Ideally I would've preferred to stick with NOD32 but cracking the serials all the time just isn't worth it, neither is paying R400 for 1 pc yearly lisence.

What is the concensus regarding Kaspersky at the moment?

I saw someone at Bid or Buy selling 3PC Lisence kaspersky accounts for even less than R210 (which was stated as being a discount). Is Kaspersky giving out lisences like crazy or what is going on?

What are you guys using to keep your office pc's safe? Also what is the best way to help keep spam out of family's gmail accounts? Is there some way to let all their mails pass through a server of mine which I could update with a list of reported spam / hoax emails and automatically cut them off. I don't want to adjust all their mail accounts individually that would be crazy time consuming

I'm looking for something like the Cpanel u get for ur office emails.

Avira Free Edition or MSE.

Your gmail gets spam?

I use MSE. It's effective, lightweight and free. Gmail should filter out most spam by default. I can't even remember the last time a spam email got through the Gmail spamfilter.
