Google announces Pixel 4 launch date

Google has sent out an invitation for its upcoming Made By Google event, where it will launch its latest Pixel smartphones.

The company has already published a placeholder for the event's live stream on YouTube, which is scheduled to begin on 15 October 2019.

It's really a pity that the Pixel is still not officially available in SA. I'm guessing that the Pixel 4 will probably sell here for about R18000 to R24000 (64/128 GB, standard model/XL) once third parties start importing them.

I'm wondering how many people out there will buy one at that price...
