Google Assist; No device for audio available

I'm trying to set up an assist routine on my POCO m4 but I receive a strange error, see screenshot below.

This happens only when I schedule it to start at a specific time.

Any ideas on how to fix it would be appreciated.

I'm trying to get this resolved, so I was trying to add my Mi box as the default for audio in Google home.

This is the instructions I got:

I followed the instructions but I have no option to choose the default playback device.

All I get is this:

No updates pending as far as I can see.

Even if scheduled routines which doesn't use up audio I receive errors:

I have given up on Google Assistant, just not able to fix this one.

I did come right, but I used Tasker and a scheduler app
