I've been mucking around with it in Google Duo, which is open to everybody to install on any Android phone. It's ok: you can ask it to tell you a joke at the same time each day, or a random fact. Maybe a bit of a midday perk-up?

It's a step up from Google now imo, got it via allo and local updates have been spoton thus far.
Loaded Bixby this week still early days.

protip, this is how I got it on my V20

change the system default language to English (US), then after you long press the home button on any screen, BOOM!

so did a test now... from phone home screen "play some music": google play music opened and started playing music
"skip this song", got the reply "okay" and then the next song started playing
"go back to the previous song", got the reply "okay" and then the previous song started

I've been using it for about two weeks now. Very nice, I love it. I like telling it to sing me a lullaby or happy birthday, or just ask it random stupid questions.

Jokes on Google for not rolling it out to older Android versions and making updategate worse. The stuff fanie mentioned I could already do on Google now anyway. Heck I can even turn on/off settings like Wifi, flashlight etc.
