how do you activate google assistant on iphone?

it's added to my 'quick access' list - swipe left and tap on mic icon

Yep - IOS doesn't allow apps to call other apps - only the o/s can do that - so I can tell Siri to send a message via Whatsapp and it will. The difference it that I can't say "send to my wife", I have to say her name - but it works the same.

I occasionally use maps to navigate somewhere. So I've added the address to a contact and tried it with fail.
Example: "Okay Google, take me to Johannes Bruin house" it recognized the command 100% but popped up with a google search
Am I doing it wrong?

Also no option to do "What song is playing".
These 2 are probably two of the commands I use the most while driving, or about to.
Features I'd think people would have asked for already?
