Google Chrome Adblock not working

I installed Google Chrome 4 a few days ago and fell in love with with a few of the extensions. One with these is Adblock, which worked great for a while now. Today it just stopped working. Disabled and enabled it, restart browser - still not working. I changed none of the Adblock settings. Did the same happen to anybody else?

You running the Chrome 4 dev version?

No I'm running the stable version 4.1.249.78. Wil try uninstalling and installing again. Maybe clear the browser cache?

It blocks adverts and malicious sites at the Hosts level system wide... so it also works with Internet Explorer.

1) uInstall chrome
2) Install FireFox
3) Install the real adblock plugin

Deleting the browser history and clearing the cache did the trick. But thanks wmaker & Garyvdh, I'll take a look at the other adblockers.
