The Chrome browser will soon let you mute a website directly from its Page Info bubble.

Would rather be able to click once on the speaker icon to mute a tab than right click for the option, than have fancy features like this. Firefox makes muting easier and faster than Chrome.

I think Firefox just remembers individual tabs when it comes to the mute function.

I believe it will still download the feed.
