Google Earth Cache... GOOD GRIEF MAN!

I had this exact problem last night! Used up every spare byte on my 128GB SSD. At first I tried cleaning the drive but performance was so slow it froze. Then I checked folder sizes one by one until I found the Google Earth folder. Took ages to delete as the drive was barely functional. And this is a Transcend drive with read/writes above 500MB/s. I was massively pissed off to say the least.

Latest version seems to have solved it for me. @Bryn26 does your drive support Trim? Apparently mine does but Lenovo haven't provided firmware - I have to backup and do it manually with the Samsung firmware. So cheesed off with Lenovo.

It does support trim, although I haven't installed any firmware relating to my SSD. I've got the relevant Transcend update utility downloading now and I'll see what it does.

Cool... hopefully it's less of an issue than mine. This Samsung SSD hangs properly at the moment - until I update firmware manually it seems.
