Google Earth

If it could only show moving objects.. Wana see who's busy sneaking at my house while i'm at work, or cheating with ma girl!

Thats why its 2 years old, psycho Bfriends or worse Psychotic rabbit boiling Gfriends

Wondered why our house's roof still had that ugly paint job... mmm, was trying to pin down how old the pics is.

Some of the photo jobbies in the Lowveld, especially Hoedspruit area, still are low-res, although here and there are patches of hi-res jobbies.

Is google earth 2yrs old:confused: or what do you mean
It depends on the area but some areas have been up longer than others and they're regularly updating. My area was finally updated to the higher resolution early last year.

K, lost you guys, or maybe got you.. When u say ggl earth's 2yrs you mean it has data only from 2yrs back... I thought u meant (or PDropa meant) it was last updated 2yrs ago... thus...

couldn't understand the relevancy of this statement in reply to mine!:o

Anyway, its beginning of the weekend, drinks are making their way up:D

We repainted our house's roof more than a year and half ago... so it proves that the data is more than 2 years old.

hrm...

now we have a collapsible swimming pool, wonder if it'll show up on the new photo... :D

And it is fun trying to identify landmarks and the eventual target.

I think the age of photos on google earth varies...

On mine it shows the date on some of the pics. Some are as recent as 8 months ago while others are ancient. I also heard that if you use google earth pro the images are much more up to date, but it's a pay service i believe.

Google u bloody Sharks!!!!! soon its gonna be 50cents to search for a site!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feh... I'll be using the free service even though the images might be a wee bit outdated... :D

I've just narrowed down the timeframe for the map of my area to within the last 6-8 months.

Some GE pictures are as old as 3 years, but the quality of GE is better from my point of view than World Wind (NASA). With World Wind i can only zoom as close as 2700m on my town. But this is with GPRS while broadband is the best.

Google earth is a remarkable tool!!!!!!!!!!

Big brother is watching us for sure!!!!

I think the difference with Google Earth Pro is you can make high res prints etc, images themselves are the same AFAIK.
