I prefer G+ as the quality of people I have in there is much better than the people that post in FB.
To give you an Idea:
I kind of see FB like FB users sees Myspace, its where the riffraff get together and derp.
I agree, but that's currently how my FB account works and there's absolutely no reason why FB can't be as "grown up" as G+ other than someone's own inability or unwillingness to manage it correctly. (But yes, I agree that the managing of "circles" works better than FB's group settings)
I constantly manage my friend list and only interact with interesting people etc. It's taken me a long time to get my FB they way I want it to work so switching to G+ is just a pain, and I'll never be able to switch completely, managing two social networks? No thanks, I waste enough time with one as it is.
Oh, and I LOVE the timeline. Manage that thing correctly and you have a great way to see each and every thing you've posted, commented on etc. etc. over the years. It's also interesting to see how your own "mindset" evolves over time.
I even used it when the insurance company needed info from 2 or more years ago, because I could just scroll down through all the years/months to check when an accident happened, when you bought a vehicle etc.
There is nothing, I repeat NOTHING out there that comes close to the FB Timeline in giving you such a succinct view of a massive amount of social media interaction spanning years. Yes, it's obviously not as fast as it used to be but blame Telkom or whomever for that, I don't see people with 10Mb+ connections complaining.
