i installed the amazon store and still can't install alexa.
no specific error ,just stuck on install so not sure if a problem on my phone, or if its not allowed....

Weird.

That's how I've always got it on my Huawei P9 and Mate 10. Never an issue

One has to disable "MIUI Optimizations" in Developer Options to be able to install Amazon Underground apps. It is only needed for installation only. After that, one can re-enable MIUI Optimizations, reboot, and the Amazon apps will still work.
