They took a long time to shut her up. It was after the flickering game demo so I thought it was a sound streaming problem.

Looked it up. It was a protester complaining about high housing costs in the Bay area.

The Android One is going to kill the Zest

For the end user, Android One will mean a more unified Android experience free from manufacturer’s own skins, like TouchWiz or Sense, fewer pre-installed apps and timely software updates. Essentially, the software will be plain Android, but will include the option for OEMs to include locally relevant software tweaks.

It just further fragments Android.They should have made it an app on Android or part of Google Services on Android instead of it's own separate Android OS. They probably want to lure car manufacturers but I personally would skip it until they add it to tablets

I think L stands for Leanback. I've been watching other Android dev videos and this makes the most sense.
