Google is ending Chrome support for these Windows operating systems

There still people running XP :O The Standard Bank at home finally upgraded.... to Windows 7.

Good news, from now:
Chrome will stop updating itself on XP without user approval.

Don't you just love this bit on that page? Can't see the other three browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari) having alternatives listed on their websites.

It is, competitors supporting each other as alternatives.

FireFox and Opera are still supported on XP SP3, they announced their continued support in 2013 when MS announced that they will stop supporting IE on XP when the product reached its EoL in 2014. Interesting though, Google did the same announcement with Chrome only to stop supporting XP and Vista now in 2015. I’m sure Mozilla will also pull the plug in this or next year.

The only reason FireFox is clinging on is due to their market share on XP based systems.

If you still use Vista you need to see a psychiatrist.

I just can't express to you how much I agree with this statement. Even still being on XP I could try and understand, but Vista, come on. It's like ignoring Netflix, dvds, etc. and rather still use VCRs, and a non functional VCR at that that only works once in a while.
