Google Maps speedometer now rolled out for iPhone

And in addition, Speedo on car doesn't reflect true speed. With waze, on this current car I have , when car is showing doing 130km/h for example, true speed is only 122km/h. Means no traps. Haven't received a speeding fine using this methodology.
I've done this for years now too. I set my cruise control based on GPS speed, not speedometer. On the X-Trail it's 139kph for 125kph on the GPS.

I've not received any fines for many years, generally doing a 130km/h are we even certain these guys still trap people? But as I said my car does beep at me when speeding, as it's GPS linked

ok, my wife got one. Ignored the waze speeding limit and that mobile camera was up ahead. 100km/h in 80km/h zone. R500 fine and if paid within 30 days , half price. have to say it was rather efficient and could pay on bank the next day!

Drive around the South cape.

Many, many many speed traps and speed cops, and frequent speed changes.

They like the 80 80 60 trap 80 60 trap 80 they get you used to driving 80, and if you miss the 60 sign they have you.

They also love the one leaving town where it’s 60 60 80 trap 100 120, and the reverse when entering so they can nab you when accelerating and decelerating.

It is only excused here because Apple Maps can't compete with Google Maps in South Africa...tread carefully :p

How so?

I only use Apple Maps, as per another thread somewhere recently it's far superior to Google Maps, even in SA.

Still nothing on my iPhone, neither on my wife's iPhone or my brother-in-law's iPhone. All of these phones have the latest version (6.125.1) of Google Maps installed.

Really? my apple maps cant find half the places I need to navigate to.

That's because AppleMaps' data is woefully out of date, even here in the US.

SO what are you saying, I must submit reports and ask them to add all these missing places? So i must do their job for them?

Same here. Very peculiar.

Do you have any luck yet?

Another iOS update, another Google Maps update and I still have nothing.

Does rollout to all users worldwide really take this long?

Tried it this morning after the update last night. Still nothing on my side.
