Google Nexus 4G with Android 4

Well Motorola had a nexus, and Samsung, so my guess is it will be a HTC Nexus, that is probably part of the reason HTC is opting for unlocking the boot loader as well.

Well my DHD will last me for some time still. So I will only look for my upgrade some time next year June.

When did Motorola have a Nexus? There has only been two so far...the first by HTC and now the second one by Samsung?

Oh yeah... oops, sorry busy coding + lunar eclipse :)

Ok so the next one should be a Motorola then.

Ockie, you shall henceforth be known as ... Ockiemoto. You like? LOL!

Motorola should give him their latest and greatest to test and report on it here ... he can be their official rep here. It's high time for Motorola to get themselves sorted in SA.

The Nexus 4G could be going to LG as well, but I hope it will be Motorola this time.

What's the big deal? Specs are less than the Galaxy SII, apart from the "720 P monster screen" and the SAME RAM and the SAME video capabilities. It has a smaller camera and smaller secondary camera.

Err, no.
"Next-generation dual-core 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz CPU"
"The 5-megapixel camera, however, is said to be an advanced 5-megapixel sensor delivering class-leading image quality in addition to superior low-light performance"
Better sensor also means better video quality.
SGS2 also has terrible mono sound recording.
It's also designed around Android 4.0 with no hardware buttons.

Anyway, this is a rumour so subject to change. Hopefully it's better than it sounds.

Please let it have a friggin notification light and great sound quality (which Android phones often lack, including the SGS2 which actually has a worse sound processor than the SGS).

Hmmm, not only that, but it also uses dual-chanel DDR2 ram... S2 has 1 channel... so the ram is faster... Also the processors are similar, but looks like the OMAP has been refined a little here and there. So no, I think the S2 is getting trumped :p
