Enough of this LG G2 talk. Any nexus 5 owners that have to rooted yet ? Rooted mine yesterday but our wasn't as easy because of the locked bootloader

Rooted mine when I got it, it was quick and easy.

Why not? There are root apps that allow you to do anything you want with your device. Might as well switch to iPhone otherwise

All the same reasons why I rooted my S2 and N7. Administrators privileges to do whatever I want to. Also, all the best apps require root

You can't have a Linux machine and not have the root password.

Still too expensive. Might as well get the G2 then.

I gotta say this N5 is bloody quick. I'm only a little disappointed by the strange design with the rear camera lenses protruding. Other than that its great.

Unlocked, rooted and running like a dream!

I don't think a software update will fix the N5's camera. It's obvious they went with a cheapie.

Not true:

In terms of camera quality, it delivers solid images. Its Achilles heel is the lagginess of its poorly designed camera app.

Those of you who own a N5, please try Camera ZOOM FX. It is arguably the best camera app out there for Android. See if this solves the lag (and other) issues.

EDIT: I am in no way affiliated with the app or it's developers. I use this app extensively on my phone (S2) and found it to be awesome. I am also interested in the N5, but if this does not solve the camera issues, I will wait a bit longer before I get one
