I am using 5.0 preview as my daily driver and it is really great. There are small issues and I look forward to the final product.

Nope. All their devices are unbranded, as they are all unlocked international variants.

Normally with a new release, you can download the image from here ... but nothing!

Doesn't always land before the OTA's do. And from the reviews I've read of the Nexus 9, they seem to be working through a number of bugs, which could be causing the delay.

Still a staggered rollout. And remember, if you're running franco.kernel, you won't get the OTA due to the modified ramdisk.

I reverted to stock rooted.
But I never waited for the OTA anyway - I use WUGs Nexus Root Toolkit.
