Google Inc. is making amends for an e-mail outage by giving 15 days of free service to businesses, government agencies and other subscribers who pay for an expanded version of the product.

This is not uncommon in other countries. If you are paying for a service that is not available, then you should be refunded!

What's so special about this???

Every time Vodacom is not available, I can't get any transfers going, the SMTP server goes on the blink etc. I get 2 weeks worth of unlimited free data transfer .. I also get a chilled bottle of Ponzcraz, tickets to the British Lion's games on what used to be Loftus and an insight into the lotto numbers...

Please, before you go, pass me my socks, I need to smoke something decent...
