Google Pixel phones expected in October

That's rather pricey, and knowing that, it will probably come here at around R12k. Seeing as the tablet is 12k at Zeek Online.
 
Wouldn't be surprised if we're looking at R12k-R15k...

There are rumours that the naming change (to Pixel) is a sign that the phones are going premium.
 
I'd love a phone with HTC's build quality and styling, which gets Android updates on time. Sadly, not at over R10k, which the Pixels almost certainly will cost.
 
I need a Nexus update. Gonna be an expensive exercise this time.

Great value yes, but I want the new new one. If it's anything like my last one (Nexus 5), it will last 3 years.
 
Well this is a lot more than their original estimate of $449... I was hoping to get one, but at that price, I might as well buy an iPhone 7!
