And they called Durban's stadium "New Mbombela Stadium" when in fact its named after Moses Mabhida (well was the last time I checked, Durban renames roads on a daily basis), I think Mbombela stadium is the Nelspruit one - Way to go SA Tourism !

Looks like they have their own agenda, apparently the capital of South Africa is now Tshwane

Do you know where God's window is in Mpumalanga? Go there with this version of Google Earth and Zoom in to around 2 Km or closer and then grab the ridge with your mouse and move it back and forth. They have this cool 3D effect going there as you look over the Plateau! Awesome!

Digital Globe will soon have all of SA up to date especially with the New Bird Two -- they flying and imageing EVERY DAY. One Month should have every thing down to sub-meter resolution.

If you had the right downlink -- YOU TOO could get REAl time imagery

Google should take the GARMAP SA data set and use THAT as an overlay -- instead of Google Maps -- or even better use the Tracks4Africa vector maps.

Aaaahh Well you can get all that stuff anyway -- and link it too GE if you know how.

aw shucks... they forgot to include all the Xenophobic hotspots and hijacking prone areas. How are the tourists supposed to survive without those?

Actually, the hotspots *are* marked. News24 has a GE map on its Xeno page where people can update the markers for Xenophobic violence. Had about 2 dozen in GP area last time I checked.
