Google, which is already under fire in Germany, faced a fresh accusation Thursday from government officials: using its camera cars to search for apartment dwellers' wireless hotspots.

Seriously, why are there so many people thinking Google is about to take over the world? It almost seems like this is the new fashion. In my opinion Google is doing us all a huge favour. It's so funny how people overestimate the importance of their trivial data.

I'm still not sure that I like the fact that they are sucking up all sorts of data about the planet's population. One piece of trivial data may not amount to much, but when you add it do a large pool of other trivial data the result may be more than the sum of its parts.

Google is gathering allot of information about the world and our surroundings.... If all these "small" parts and Vairiable's are collected and compiled correctly, I guess Google will be the 1st to build a Cylon like Robot with fully working AI. They have the $$$ and Man power as well as Knowledge under them...
