What do you love?

Google rolls out a new search tool called “What do you love?” which lists a range of Google’s services related to that term

to many things wrong with that link
e.g.
1. Explore my girlfriend in 3D/ Hell NO!!
2. Measure popularity of my girlfriend on the web / NO!!!
3. Watch videos of my girlfriend / would not wanna watch those vids on you tube
4. Access my girlfriend stuff on the web / privacy issues



that said
maybe these could usefull
1. Translate ‘my girlfriend ’ into 57 language's ... I know could use this sometimes
2. Find books about my girlfriend / ties in with number 1
3. Buy all kinds of my girlfriend stuff / shopping for made easy yippee
4. Alert me about my girlfriend/ maybe just the need to know stuff
5. Latest news about my girlfriend / ties in with number 4
6. Plan your my girlfriend events/ really needed

Is it just me or does this service feel kinda pointless? The chances of you using all these tools when doing a search is very small -- to me this seems like a search engine for people who don't know what they're looking for.

I fail to see why you think its pointless. I think its good idea. Google is always coming up with something new even if it does not turn out to be a success (google wave).
