Google will block Flash in Chrome

Google’s Chrome browser will soon block the Flash plugin, except on 10 sites it has white-listed.

Will my local lan cctv connection still work? All that worries me, it uses flash. I hope so, when on IE it chrashes a lot and FF doesn’t run it.

Great idea but sites like Deezer and Spotify still needs Flash. Even Play music still needs flash if you don't enable the HTML5 flag.

Good move, but I should be able to edit whitelit or blackist those allowed by Google.

“We will continue to ship Flash Player with Chrome, and if a site truly requires Flash, a prompt will appear at the top of the page when the user first visits that site”.

Sounds like the Firefox implementation, you can whitelist and enable specific sites.

... although FF has a nasty habit of dumping the whitelist on new versions
