I'm looking for software for Android phones that can:
Give live location
Give history for previous few days
Relies on GPS for location not GSM
Ability to find in an emergency
I am trying out FollowMee but the features I want to test are only available if you pay the monthly subscription.
I have a night guard that travels the farm at night. I have given him a phone that I have locked down with Google Family Link that gives location, but there is no history. He does carry a LittleLogBook Go, but I can only check where he has been when he hands it in in the morning.
I do also have a Trackimo unit that I installed in a fence energiser that was being stolen on a regular basis. I have considered getting him one. This can give me up to date tracking, but very slow and often uses GSM rather than GPS during live tracking. Being in the country towers are very far apart and the location can be kilometres out.
The idea is to have a single device that is easy to find and reports back live and historical info.
