Hi everyone

I've just got my new GTX 760, however a gameplay I play (Perfect World) is old and the engine it runs on is extremely out of date.

I've always known that because of this it runs only on 1 cpu core and hardly touches that gpu.
I have an i5 2500k and not even this can keep up with the game on full gfx or low when there are many players in one place.

So, I was wondering is there anyway I can force my GPU to take some of the load from the CPU?
It hardly blinks an eyelid.

Thanks

nVidia control panel, 3D settings, Manage 3D settings, Program settings tab, Add the game there.

Use this method so Java uses my GFX card for Minecraft

Interesting! I tried minecraft a few weeks ago and thought my 280x would handle max draw distance(or whatever its called). So was it actually running off my cpu?

Install the latest Nvidia driver and latest DirectX. The new drivers give more of the tasks to your GPU that your CPU would have handled previously.

This.

Had a similar issue a few years back with an older game and my AMD card. Doing this forced the strain off of the CPU and onto the GPU where it's meant to be.

Ya it would've done. Even set like this MC barely uses the GFX card at all, rendering is 90%+ CPU based.

Well I did try everything but does not seem to help. This game must be beyond hope.
