- Admitted as an Attorney to the Side Bar of the Supreme Court of South Africa on 18 April 1995.
- Admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales on 15 January 2009. During June 2008 he wrote the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) in order to be admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales. he passed the QLTT with an A grade for all subjects.
