Grand Theft Auto 6

It's interesting because Devolver Digital is solely a publisher, not a developer. So some small indie studio asked them to hype up their small forgettable game alongside the GTA6 juggernaut lol.

That small, forgettable game will probably now get far more attention and respect as the game going up against GTA6 than it would have if it didn't pull this stunt.

Actually a smart move for an indie studio. They will get attention, that's good.

Haha I had a look at GTAV and IV's release dates. No game was released on the same day as GTAIV and only Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver (a game no one has ever heard of) was released alongside GTAV.

^ I'm bored this morning so here are more details :)

GTAIII
budget: $5million
revenue: $100million within a few months

Vice City
budget: $5-10million
revenue: $70million in first week

San Andreas
budget: $10-20million
revenue: $225million in first week

IV
budget: $100million
revenue: $310million in first 24hours, $500million in 1 week

V
budget: $265million
revenue: $815million in first 24hours, $1 billion in 3 days!

VI
budget: $1-2 billion (unconfirmed)
predicted revenue: $1billion with pre-orders alone, $2billion within days, $3billion in first few months. :)

So May 2027 then :p

2029 for pc.
Yeah it's the delay for PC that hurts most. I'm highly unlikely to ever buy another console again (last was the PS4) so waiting until 2028/2029 is sure to ruin the fun with the inevitable spoilers.

Okay don't laugh but perhaps they're going to release on all platforms simultaneously with PC supposedly being a lot more profitable these days...oh look a unicorn!

Just hope it's optimized when it comes out.

Would suck to wait all this time and it comes out running at 900p on the PS5
