Nothing beats physical editions of GTA with its posters and foldout maps which I've always laminated. And even just the cool boxart itself.
GTA San Andreas was the best with it's hardcover travel guide. Mine is still in near perfect condition.
Counter point.
In the past 20 years, I worked and lived in several countries. I do not have a single physical box/game that I bought as I always had to cut my losses to save cost on travel.
Simultaneously, I still have access to all the digital copies I bought over the years.
I lost my entire Xbox 360 collection as I used to only buy them physically (Had a Xbox 360 Arcade).
PS3 digital library on the other hand is still about 100+ games strong.
