To polish the games and make them compatible with PCs. To make the games actually run on pc, increase detail, resolution, graphics, etc etc.

You have to remember PCs are all different and some more powerful than consoles so the pc version needs a bit more work. The pc version is always the best looking one.

Yeah... no. If you know anything about development you would know that's not the case. Esp seeing how closely Xbox match PC Code. Xbox Series = Windows 11 Kernel.

As for assists they use the same assists else screenshots of PC vs Console would look different. EG GTA5 clearly looks they the same.

The biggest improvement in the trailer seems to be population density. With GTA V, there weren't enough people, and it had less of a real world city feel. Probably a function of processing power.
