Macca the Gator better be a good, offensive show since he's pretty much the mascot of Vice City.

And I hope every tv show in the game will have far more episodes than in previous games.
 
Have to say, based on online comments alone, the goodies box has been pretty disastrous for Rockstar. Hard to find any positive comments at all.

People complain about the price (and I agree, for what you're getting, R7000 is way too much), but the Oakleys alone would retail for about $217-$230. Take the Oakley shades out and the box would still cost around $200, while the RDR2 goodies box was $100.

Some people say they should have included the VI lamp (pic here) Rockstar gave away to a few select streamers with the Extended Look to justify the price.

People complain that the box does not include the game or even a code for the game. But the RDR2 goodies box did not include the game either. This is not technically the CE of the game. It's just a collection of merch. And the complaints about the lack of a disk version is getting a bit old. As a pc gamer I'm just shaking my head lol.

People complain that everything is ugly. I kinda like the look of everything, but not at that pricetag.

People complain that everything looks cheap.

People complain that some of the items are too similar to items made for GTAVC. Rockstar released a mirror, swizzle spoon, razor keychain etc for Vice City back in the 2000s.

People complain that the box does not include anything related to Jason and Lucia at all.

People say Rockstar is the greediest company in history because of this box.

Etc etc.

I would say about 99% of all comments have been negative. But it will still sell and imo it's still a nice collection for your shelf.

We are in an age of complaining. Nothing is good enough. Everything is a problem.

No one is forcing anyone to buy it. Its a simple calc they can do without talking to anyone.

Is it worth $400
no, then don't buy it
yes, then buy it.

Simple as that.

Edit: Oh and I can 100% see bots buying all the stock causing people to sell them on Ebay for $800+ And you know what, some will buy it at that price cause they will never learn: Scalping only works cause people are willing to still buy from them.

Sure but that's not the point of this box. It is not meant to be a Collector's Edition of the game that includes the game. It's a seperate collection of GTA goodies or merch for fans.

They did the exact same thing with RDR2 which also upset people because they expected the game to be included with everything:

Would have been ideal but people would still complain.

Don't know why I care though lol. It won't come to SA and I won't ever pay more than a few hundred R for gaming merch :p

Yes I edited the text but really, $400 is taking the piss. We could have had a Lucia figurine but instead we get this junk lol.
