I think the big question is actually whether or not the security acted according to procedure?

Although wrong, making her stay behind bars over-night seems a little OTT if you ask me...
Least they could have done considering the circumstances, was let her off with a warning, after a stern talking to and the inconvenience of being taken to a police station and having your departure delayed.
Wasting tax money on stupid court cases, while they are more forgiving and accomodating for hardened criminals and killers.

It's called "uttering". A legal term. Saying you have a bomb, when you do not. Even if "joking". If I remember correctly, one could get up to 20 years for uttering.
