Graphic card advice

I am looking for something decent my card broke,
Something under R2k

Is this any good?

I am not set on either Nvidia or AMD / ATI

Looks like a decent price vs quality of card

Mainly just World of Warships gaming and the usual other stuff, nothing too hectic
Would prefer 2 x HDMI ports but at that price...

Otherwise monitor Carbonite, every now and again there is a 960 between R2000 and R2500

For under R2k get a gtx 1050 as it outperforms the rx 460.

1050ti would be much better if you can extend your budget a bit. R2500 will get you a faster gpu with double the vram. I reckon it's worth the extra R500.

You won't find a cheaper one than that locally if you want 4 output ports.

Yes. It's R100 more than the one with 3 outputs and it has a dual fan cooler to boot. Nothing wrong with going with either of them.

Nothing wrong with being honest and trying to help someone out.

The nice thing with the 1050ti is that should marine want to play other games in future it will serve him well. I had a 2GB 960 and it was more than capable at gaming at 1080p 60fps if you knocked down the ingame shadow settings, AA to fxaa, grass & visibility range in some games so i reckon he's sorted and can play gta5, witcher3 etc no problem with a few adjustments.

Was definitely a good price and the best budget card around. You made the right choice in my opinion. I had the 750ti (the previous generation 1050ti) and it served me well, i could still play all the latest games (on medium) up until I sold it +-3 months ago. the 1050ti is much better than the 750ti, so you are set for a few years.
