Graphics Card Advice

I've read reviews and came to the same conclusion. My worry is the power consumption though. Would the 750ti not use a lot less power?

Why do you worry about power. Power consumption would not make that much of a difference and that 650w is good enough psu as long as it's not generic and comes with 2x 6ping otherwise you can get the R9 270 that only needs 1x6pin. I would say rather take the amd and get a better gaming experience.

you see the r9-270x is way better

ugh people thinking they can buy a new card and it will last 3 years for gaming if they buy low end...

750 just won't cut it at any good resolution, now that newer games are coming out. If you buy second hand with warranty you can probably get a card that will stay relevant for a while... there is a point where value vs performance comes into play.

750ti uses less power yes, but you've got a 650w psu, recommended psu for the R9 270x is 500w, so you're sorted:)

This ok?

For PC controllers only ever look at the Xbox360 controller. It's the default controller supported by all games. I prefer the wired one as it's cheaper and no batteries to worry about.

PS3/4 Controllers also work for the PC,

OP I would spend R300 rand more and get this

PS: I bought my GTX 460 back in 2010 and with a minor OC it can play all DX9 sometimes DX10 games on max @1080P

Lol, I think Im just going to go for the 9270x on Wootware for R2399. Didn't want to spend so much, but ok, I've got to take the good advice received...

Dont wonder why you smashed your PC out of frustration because your settled for AMD.

U wot m8, those days have long passed. I've had my 7850 since 2012 OC'd to **** and it still runs night and day, never once had a driver issue.

A R2400 270x is the best value for money right now and it outperforms every Nvidia at that price point by a massive margin.

Nvidia is not a budget GPU company.

The R9 270 will scale power accordingly depending on how hard the card is being pushed. Anything at 1080p and high-max settings will be a breeze for that card :)

I know right, it pisses me off when people say Nvidia is better because it's Nvidia.

Might as well put my 9400GT back in.

I know, **** like this just pisses me off endlessley;

I mean wtf is that guy talking about right??
Right??

Oh god, are you actually saying that the 750ti can stand up to the 270x? I'm going to genuinely assume you aren't, but if you are.

The only thing the 750ti has going for it is a low TDP lmao

I'll give you benefit of the doubt though.
