Green ID Booklets

SauRoNZA, the point is, how do they determine my identity, if even I don't know my identity? Guess that would make me a refugee huh? Can refugee's get ID's or passports without any written identification?
 
How are ID information sorted/arranged in the SARS/home affairs database? Is it sorted by ID number, or name? Full name, or initials and Surname?

It is a shame that although they had a problem with the old regimes DOMPAS they do not understand that there is NO difference with the new regimes DOMPAS
They are ALL unnecessary intrusions of the state into the private life of its citizens
Just wait until the new regime uses the new DOMPAS for the same purposes as the old DOMPAS !!!!!!!!!!!

What do other countries use to identify their citizens?

Haven't been on that project for over 3 years, don't even work for BBD any more. The extreme hours and long weekends used to be a thing. I really doubt it still is (thats assuming the project is still active). A lot has changed with STARS in recent years...

But do you actually really not know your own identity or are you just asking a hypothetical scenario?

How does one magically forget ones name?

And if one does, how does everyone else forget you existed or where you came from?

If you were really turning 18 now a lot of systems and checks would have been in place already at your time of birth.


Even I born in the old Transkei had no problems getting South African paperwork.

I have a friend who works for SARS directly, I hear the external contractors still burn the midnight oil
