Growing a beard

It's not that way on purpose, just pure laziness. I don't like being clean shaven though, so I need to get a clipper that works properly...

Same here, have problems with shaving does not work well for me so a shave every 2 weeks in the wolf man phase is what I do.

And why so? I find after a week or so the itchiness drives me crazy. Shaving is much easier.

Who says tall guys cant have full beards? Im almost 6'4" and have had a full beards for years. Missus hates it. Thats just a bonus....

I kept stubble for years, couldn't get past the itch.

Then one day at 27 I did. Now I look like a less hardcore blonde/brown/red/grey version of Red Viking's avatar.

Set of whal clippers for heavy duty trimming, a Philips aqua touch for fine clipping, razor for the detail, beard oil applied every few days.

I'm a tallish (6ft) guy on the skinny side. Though I do have a full head of (misbehaving) hair.

Very few goatees look great.

Haha. Just the feeling and I get an instant rash. So when ever I do, I have to do it the night before. Probably clean shave maybe once in 2 months or so.

Are you shaving against the grain? As in upwards, instead of downwards?

I'm thinking the rash is because of when you shave - like I said, when the bristles get to big I get a rash (rough face). Shave every day or so, and you will not experience this.

It does, but a electric shaver for general cleaning first then a blade

For me, I shave every day after washing my hair, in the bath. I find the bristles are soft and easy afterwards. Shave by touch; not looking in the mirror.

What a strange thing to say. Every second ****er these days is bearded.

Not where I am, most have a "snor" very few have a beard that would make Gandalf envious :D

Went with a fatter goatee then slim cut one, basically have the soul patch line down to the chin with goatee at neck line and mouth width. :D Full beard wouldn't serve me all that well the beard would almost be above cheek line, which means I still need to shave, so I rather keep it simple.

The itchiness lasted 2 weeks and job done, at least in a few years I will have some thing to comb even if it's only attached to my face :D
