Growing a beard

i used to have a short beard for many years... about 2-3 yrs ago decided to grow it... never looked back...

Key to growing a beard is maintaining it, start off in the morning with a beard wash, towel dry, use a de tangling brush to open out the knots, apply some beard oil, rub it in nicely and then neaten with a beard brush. beard looks good and healthy. For the days brushing doesnt help, use a beard wax, keeps all the strays together.

I also shape my beard very like 2 weeks, use a machine for the mustache and scissors on the beard to make sure shape is good and any strays are shortened..

All my products are from the gentleman's beard club, lovely stuff, no chemicals, all natural ingredients. tried other brands, but my beard was greying out fast, so i stopped and stuck to these guys.

I've also had a (ginger) beard for years. The wife prefers it as it fulls out my face.
Nothing hectic though, I keep it on a 4.

No man with all that work you might as well be shaving. Real beards you wash when you wash your hair and trim at the start of summer.

My skin has always got very rough when I've let the whiskers grow for a week or two. I wonder if someone here has had a beard for years, and then shaved it - and what the skin was like right then.

That's what beard oil is for, more for the dry skin than the beard.

I've had half a beard for probably 4 - 5 years now, can't even remember what it's like to shave my chin. The other day I decided to go full, so will shave everything off and start over.

I've had a full beard for the last 3 years.

I keep it short along the sides and fullish around my chin.

And my beard and hair are the same length.

Yes boys!
Keep em coming. ......

Just after I shaved off all my hair

Men don't discuss growing a beard... they just grow the beard.
