GTA 5 graphics mod looks exceptional

Anyone running some of these mods as yet? I've never played GTA V but will at some point in the future. Wondering whether my GTX970 will have issues running at good fps with some of the graphics mods out there.

That NaturalVision mod I posted above runs just fine on my 1060 so you will be ok ;)

When I still had my 960 I ran this mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/r-hancer-graphics-mod which had zero fps hit, unfortunately the guy has health issues and has not updated it.

Still figuring out how to install car mods, wish there was some sort of one click modding tool available.

used to be one for San andreas, isnt there one avalible for 5?

also im curious to know how do these mods actually get created?
is GTA5 very well written to allow this to happen? or what happens behind the scenes to allow this kind of mods to take place?

I mean does somebody literally rewrite the whole game? or does the mod replace files, and those were rewritten from the stock version?
or does the game recognize your on a high spec machine and adjust accordingly?

would love to actually know....

They modify file content, fire up openiv and start extracting the content of some of the files. They also apply external enb & reshade profiles.

so how much work does it take to make a mod like that, at least in time coding it? and in rendering it initially?

is this why its so graphics intensive?

I'm the wrong guy to ask but I'm sure there are plenty of modding guides out there for gta v.

I think in most cases the guys just edit the existing parameters/variables in the game files, the reshade & enb stuff is external to the game. I doubt they actually mess with the source code. Wrt to textures you can simply replace the existing ones. GTA V is one of those games that is very modable.

Crashing for me

Stock game.

Same here. Good thing I backed up my gta v game folder before installing.

Ignore this mod, do not install it.

The guy plagiarised a good few other mods to bundle into this mod hence why you won't find it on www.gta5-mods.com. Think he ripped off like 5 different mods. He's been busted twice before for ripping off other peoples work.

Apologies for posting the videos.

Rather use this mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/naturalvision-photorealistic-gtav which is awesome.
