Just bought it from CNA Sandton - tho their copies are flying off the shelves. There were about 4 people ahead of me who had just bought it. :p

I just phoned CNA Sandton, the girl said a lot of people have been calling and they definitely do not have stock...

conspiracy????
 
btgames(fourways) are sorting out preorders first, they told me they will phone if they have left after that...

They had about 4 copies left when I walked out of there around 11h30ish.

Musica Warehouse (round the corner from CNA) has it as well, but the boxes have been opened and the discs removed & kept behind the counter -- I *hate* that.

Their price is R709 (CNA is R699).
 
All I can say is WOW. About 2% into the game now and loving every bit of it, my only gripe so far is the standard camera view is terrible when driving and I'm finding it a bit slow (as in frame rate)
 
I think the bricks in my house have a higher IQ than 3/4's of the shop sales assistants that I've spoken to on the ph today looking for yes/no have or don't have stock in.

A few answers i'm getting is if not in tomorrow then maybe not till next week.
Guess if your not in Cape Town/Joberg/Durban don't get too excited about getting your hands on a copy by the sounds of what i'm hearing.
This includes Game,Incredible connection,HiFi Corp,CNA & Musica

I'm thinking Spar or Pick & Pay would do a better job at distribution management

Anyone else finding that the game textures can't keep up when you drive fast?
 
For anyone pondering which version (And doesn't care about the DLC), Let me just throw this in here:

Starting with IGN, general consensus is that the 360 has a bit of Pop-in (no HDD caching), both suffer frame drops, but the 360 is generally more stable. There's a million reviews on metacritic, I'm not going to bother linking.

*happy as a pig in sh*t* ...... got mine at midnight. Heard a rumour that the guys who didn't pre-order are gonna wait looooooong time before stock is available again. That sucks :D

Amen brother, I have decided just to wait. When I see it is on the shelf then I will purchase it. I have had to many experience with answers like "I dunno" or "Whats that". So I just wait, saves me the stress :)

If i can't find instore tomorrow i'm going to vote with my feet & order from O/Seas and i'll still get it faster than dealing with all the holiday holdups i'll hit by ordering it online here this week.

Is PAL UK the same PAL as what S.A is anyone please.
