GTI accident

An old mistaken belief that you can't be flung or hurt badly from the back - ya i learned that lesson the hard way

A few people have unfortunately, some walked away, some didn't. My mom has always insisted we have our seatbelts on, the one time we didn't as it was an old Cortina that didn't have rear seatbelts we were in an accident. Luckily it was a mild one, but it really did drill home the need for seatbelts.

I know some one who went to a scrap yard and bough a buckle so he could plug it in and not wear a belt - never understood the mentality
Some models ram the message down your throat with irritating beeps so I can understand the mentality.

A bright light works better as a reminder to buckle up. A vehicle should serve you not order you around.

180Km/h is slow. Even my 1600 Carola does 240 without the supercharger on. Speed does not kill, Stupidity does.

I think we may have a challenger for the Monza's crown...

Problem is the corolla is as most cars wrong wheel drive. more power more torque steer and less traction.
to cute when all these fwd cars light up a burnout and does a one tyre fire. Quaife much.

i think pretty much every safety feature in the car revolves around the seatbelt so it tries to annoy you into wearing honestly there really is no reason not to wear one , unfortunately you can be the best driver in the world but that ain't wort much for the other drivers on the road
