Nah I think I'll be safe and go for a 1GB... if I go with 4870 that is, still undecided :confused:

There are a few 1GB 4870's
PCZone's gonna track one down from a supplier. Else I'll just order it elsewhere.

Charlie, may i ask how much your getting both cards for?

Esquire has the 295 for 5.5k ex vat, so if your paying anything over 4.5k for these cards then you should maybe look at buying from esquire.

I'm not sure what the pricing is yet. PCZone is still trying to find a 1GB 4870 for me.
But I doubt it'll be over R4500.
Not gonna spend more than 5k on gfx tho but thank you for the offer :)

Theres a guy who was selling those HIS 4870 1 gigs for R3850 on prophecy forums, thik he's a supplier and bought the cards for clients who then neva took them so they come with all the warraties and all that. His name is slick, i'll pm him if you interested?
