GTX590

I agree even the raven RV02 looks pretty darn sexy. If I knew that case was so good and almost the same price as my Cooler master sniper I would've bought that.

The absolute only reason I don't own one is because I got impatient while doing my build and no one had stock of the RV02

You spend 18k on that system...lol

I spend about R16k for a i5-2500k pc overclocked to 4.7GHz and that includes the mobo, CPU, Cooler, GPU, SSD and case (Cooler master Sniper) and also a 1.5TB HDD
Just remember that I got mine about a year ago...
Some of the components' prices dropped by at least 20% since last year.

I'd love to get an i5 2500k, but it's simply not worth it to spend that much on a "small" upgrade.
I'd reckon that my framerate in games would still be faster than yours on 2560x1600 due to the 2x GTX460 >> 1x GTX570 ;)

Ya you gotto consider what the equivalent component would be now to a year ago price wise.. So obviously if I or Pada built a system now it wouldn't have an i5 750 in it, but a year ago for R1 800 thats what you got, like now you get a i5 2500k for that price.. apples vs apples people.

Ja.

I was considering a 2600k for R2500. But I think I should rather go for a 2500k at R1800.
Hmm.

Can't wait to try my overclocking the little bugger. Hope my Antec 620 is up to it.
:/

The Antec 620 would do just fine with overclocking the i5 2500k / i7 2600k to 4.5GHz-5GHz.

I have my i5-2500k @ 4.7GHz stable with thermalright silver arrow :D

H100 will be better since the radiator it uses is larger, and so should give lower temps

Thanx Archer except I had to go for the H80 because the H100 doesnt fit in my case

Are you sure? Cant you put the rad by the 2 rear 120mm fan spaces? Or is the radiator too long?
Rad dimensions = 122mm x 275mm x 27mm

@HTC_guy:
Yes, the i5 2500k can be overclocked very well, but not really under LN.
The i5 2500k can be overclocked from like 3.3GHz to like 4.7-5GHz, depending on the batch that you received.

Yes, LN (Liquid Nitrogen).

The previous generation CPU's were overclockable to outstanding frequencies below 0'C (using LN or dry ice), where as the Sandy Bridge CPU's not so much.

I was at Evetech yesterday and saw a PC for R45000. The Evetech manager told me that he had to refund R15000 because they could only fit R45000 worth of hardware in the specific case and motherboard that the client had requested. I didn't bother asking the specifications of the machine because it most probably would have caused me to burst into tears...
