Guard gets fine for raping chicken

The science of tragedy humour is quite clear - we often make jokes about bad things to help our minds cope with the harsh reality of the human condition, natural cruelty and general malaise. It is therapeutic. But thanks for judging us from high up there on your horse - just try not to fall of, because then the jokes will flow as well. Not because we are cruel or callous but because it is our way of coping with the tragedy.
OK, I'll just wait for the next thread about a child being raped, shall I? I'm sure you'll enjoy the jokes :(

Yes, you'll probably be first in line with an off-colour schoolboy joke.

Ah - I see you've started.

Do yourself a favour and research the work of Peter McGraw. Making jokes around these things is nowhere near as bad as you make it out to be. Armchair critics like yourself have been found in his research to be far more guilty of apathy than amateur jesters such as me. In fact, those that make the jokes you find so offensive are often the ones who do more to prevent the kinds of tragedies and abuses the armchair critics like to pay lip service to in an attempt to justify their own inactivity.

I remember from the vegan thread you claiming you don't preach. Guess what? You're preaching.

You guys are letting bokdrol ekstasis troll you.

In terms of animals rights, I am certainly not inactive, so I can "preach" all I want.
Why do you always refer people to the work of some bore? Can't you think up your own stuff?

Because it is science - I know, boring. Boring the way these FACTS fly in the face of your inconvenient opinion. So you do preach then? Good to know. Everyone loves a preaching since these are almost always void of fact. I'm still waiting for the joke, btw. I have one up my sleeve just in case...
