Looks like you are correct based on googling 'ford pilot police car' http://classiccars.brightwells.com/viewdetails.php?id=3156
see, Google is your friend
I think the mass producers were caught during the pre-war with a body/ /fender design philosophy they had to carry through till after the war. The smaller producers in Europe had already started to integrate the fenders and nose/tail ponton style, and when the big producers caught up and replaced their old designs it was day and night....although I have to say that UK Fords/Vauxhalls suffered looks wise in the 50's compared to their pre-50's brethren.Apart from that, I cannot get over the fact that the Pilot was immediately followed by the first Ford Zephyr and the difference in design is light years apart - the Zephyr was also the first production car to have McPherson strut front suspension, which was even more light years ahead of the Pilot!![]()
C'mon....eastern Europe. Still known for motorsicle related products.
Hate to disappoint you but there is no pic unless it's a stealth car.
But based on your hint is it any of the following, Minsk, CZ, Java, Blata, Tomos?
