Guess that game/ Looking for that game

yeah, sequel wasn't as fun as the first i think :)

now a hard one ...

4 races, an RTS, you built units and got to choose the arms and weapons you put on them. you harvested energy from plants and stole DNA from dead enemies. what is it? ;)

I'm actually looking for one that is like this. It play's of in space and you build new creatures by mixing the DNA. It's almost something like Starcraft and I'm alsmost certain the name is like a Zee or a Vee or something.
I remember the intro play's of on the bridge of a ship and then you see a soda can floating by....

Not all the hard to guess: Gene Wars. One of Bullfrog's lesser-known titles and very underrated. It's still quite unique...

The villain uses a samurai style sword name beginning with an M.

The hero is a clone of the villain.

The hero's childhood friend can be found in lots of japanese tentacle intercourse.
Final Fantasy. Not sure which one, possibly VII. A friend of mine actually bought that sword. Not a replica, but the actual sword - the one and only.

My turn: "DJ bring sekey madule"

Hey thanks, was bugging me for a while now.

Answer to yours: Gabriel knight, was an awesome game, all 3 of them.

Pleasure and yep - GK was awesome. Sins of the fathers was by far the best one of the lot, imho. I see the original writer of the GK series started up a new game dev company with her husband - should be promising!

I'm looking for a specific puzzle/adventure game. I don't know if anybody can remember but there used to be a program called Tekkies. In one episode they featured two cd-rom games when these first came out. One scene was of a boy (I think) where you had to fill a bottle you picked up earlier with water and then fill up some pipes or flutes with the water. It was in the same gameplay style as Neverhood. I can either not remember anything else or they didn't show more.

This was a specifically made for cd game rather than an earlier floppy game just tacked onto cd. The other game was either Myst or The Neverhood.

Ultima?

Wait no, either Quest for Glory or Kings Quest, leaning towards Kings Quest ( 5 or 6? )

Some good memories guys.

Who remembers that TV program that aired on SABC in the 90s that was about video games? It was like Cybertron or Cyber something.

The intro sequence had a blue robot with a computer screen for a head.
