You solo guests browsing this forum - if you're not happy with your phone bill costs, your internet costs or speeds - as an individual consumer, there's not much you can do to alter anything.
However, by registering, which costs nothing, is anonymous, and will get you no spam and no trouble in any way - you quietly join the online growing army of other consumers who have similar problems.
remember - UNITY IS STRENGTH
Consumer power and unity - stupid buzz-words I know - but it does mean that by joining up, you add to the growing numbers of people who can help this forum speak with one voice, on various issues, at assorted companies.
When you have 5 -10 000+ consumers all similarily aligned, getting information, staying aware, and able to bring their financial clout to bear on companies and situations affecting internet users - in the SA market, you're talking about a sizeable pressure group, that crosses all fake boundaries like class, gender and so-called ethnic grouping.
Something genuinely strong, in other words - that isn't locked into the fake 'differences' that keep us all separated in the real world, and at the mercy of government, companies and the media, who exploit our 'differences' at every
opportunity, for their own gain.
Here in cyberspace, we're all united, regardless of supposed 'differences'.
And the more of you Guests who sign up, the more powerful we all become,
and the more able we are as a Forum, to affect change, to help everyone.
You can be shrugged off or ignored, if you have problems as a single user of an Internet service, or telecommunications service - however, when you're part of a solid 'voting block' of 5000+ other users, you have a lot more power to cause change.
Unless of course, you're happy being an individual that no one is listening to.
Unless of course you're happy having no voice, no power, no platform to speak out, no ability to cause any change at all in the current situation that's caused you to be on this Forum in the first place..
Makes you think, doesn't it?
