I am still low lvl and was cruising around with 7 hencies (no hero's) and I got a nice gold Scythe (sold for 20k) and a green, Korr's Focus (solf for 25k). Besides those two, drops were terrible.

has any1 come accross a Dead Sword - looks like a Soul Reaver from legacy of kain series (looks absolutely wicked). I picked one up, gold not max though 12-17 dmg +5 energy. This sword is probably gonna be like the Crystaline :D

Think I have come across it as well, there in the beginning areas.

Can't actually remember what it looked like.

Same as in pre-searing where non-max crystaline's drop. Max crystaline's can only be found when winning Hall of Heros - if you lucky that is :D

I have an idea where to farm these Dead Swords, but need to test out my theory 1st - hope I find me a perfect low req 1 then sell for $$$ :p

There is a long sword with a crystalline skin that you get as reward prize for the Prize Moa Bird in pre-searing. This is not the real one and is often used in scams.
It is still sought after by collectors though.

Max crystallines also drop in UW, SF and FoW

seen any drop? I haven't...

seen any drop? I haven't...
Sadly, not. I will probs cr@p my pants if one does drop... ;)
ANet has basically said some players will never ever see a crystalline sword, such is the rarity ... :(

From what I understand the sword apparently also only drops from chest rewards, not monsters.
Always make sure you have a key!! :D

LoL, I have been keeping 10 or 15 high end keys on me all the time now, when farming :D besides, you tend to make that amount of cash back very quickly :p

I played GW for a long time using Virgin Mobile GPRS speed @ 50c a meg. It was very playable :) so you don't need a good internet connection for GW. Although the updating was a bit frustrating so I still suggest ADSL :D

well, I`ve ever played this game for a long time, and think it as enjoyable and very fantastical, but it still seems to be over cute, then I just quit out there several months ago!anyway, it brings me wonderful memory till now. I just enjoy it as a piece of memory!^_^

I went through 4-5 consecutive updates in the client last night when I connected.
It would just do a one file update and then relaunch and do another one. It did this process 4-5 times, and none of the files were the same size. When it completed and I could login, nothing else was downloaded in the interface.

Anybody else have this? Have never seen an update like this I am wondering what they did. No updates posted that I could find.

I've had that, thoug at most 2-3 relaunches. Last night I think it relaunched twice, can't be too sure, I was too busy being an idiot to take much notice.

hhmmm, would be nice to know what they did and why the need for so many relaunches....
Am keeping my eye out for something to popup ... or drop ;)

Odd, I don't think I have ever had to relaunch more than once.

Wonder if it might have been this:
