heh vexx, i'm not engaged, but living together....

I've tried to get the mrs into PC games, it just hasn't worked so far :D

lol.... yes that explains why i'm still on @ 2am in the morning, i'm working a 11am-7pm shift so it allows me too play a bit later/earlier :D

I think gkm is the only one without these probs ?

Lol, yeah. I told my fiance that I made it my mission in life to get her to play an mmorpg with me. So far I got her to design a character, that was about a month ago and she have not started playing yet  Atleast its a start. :D

my missus only enjoys games when i sit in front of the PS2 playing SoTC or Resident Evil 4... she just doesnt understand the whole online concept... like real people behind the digital image, etc. :(

She stopped playing that much GW after finishing with one character and nearly finishing with another, so I have problems again. Sigh. The good old days.

lol@gkm

u were a lucky fish :D

Hmmmm, think i'll try and get the mrs into GW tonight ..... you just never know :D

@mccrack - you better have a 2nd PC just in case she kicks you out if she likes GW! :D

My fiance like sim like games, oh, and dont forget, she just LOOVVVEESSS to chat. I think it will be difficult to get her to play an action game.

Yes, no point it getting her interested and then have nowhere to play yourself. :) I have learned from long experience to always make sure my wife has her own PC.

I just had my wife walk around in pre-sear one Sunday afternoon and that had her hooked.

@Vexx - just tell her you can chat with real people in GW and voila! Done! :D

I agree. My wife would probably never play for example BF2, but the action is not that intense in GW, so the game eased her into it. But now she plays GW only about once a week. Sigh.

You guys are geniusses! :D I like the chat idea and just to get her to walk around and see what it is all about.

your wallpaper is now some guy they were chatting to on MIRC with his dongly bits hanging out is horrfic

just showing her the emotes will send her into every town imaginable... and tell her she needs to do quests to chat to more people in other towns... :p

Lets not go there. I know exactly what you mean. :D It was real funny. Not one of her lady friends could look me in the eye for a week without blushing. I on the other hand didnt make it easy for them, bringing it up in every conversation and all :D

heh, So did any of you guys pre-order factions, or are you waiting to see how this weekends FPE turns out?

I'm still not sure whether or not i should look @ Factions or finish the first chapter first ..... sigh ....

What time does it start (locally)?

Got that Metallica concert thing to attend :D

i will preview this weekend and after pay-day pre-order GW:Factions from BT Games...

*SIGH*

I found out today that one of my colleagues also plays GW, and looking @ his explored map all i can say is........ i got a long way to go

EDIT: - I've just seen WoW in action today, was watching a colleague do his thing for about 30 mins..... and i have this too say....
i'm glad GW was my first :D

WoW is fun when you play with somebody... i got bored after hitting lvl 15 in WoW plus latency and subs helped me to drop it.

I have the full GW's map and at least its directing me at some of the remote areas other than telling me how puny my current exploring status is! :D
