Guild Wars, questions...

I'll bring my Ele to help you, since Im struggling to find a group for Sorrows Furnance farming. It seems that Eles are not in high demand later on in the game :(

I take it you have already done the Fort Ranik and Ruins of Surnai Mission. If so, you only have the Nolani Academy mission left to reach Yaks Bend.

I LOVE getting the bonus missions for completeness sake. I mean its is part of the game so why not do it. Its really frustrating that from the Sanctum Cay Mission onwards not one group even wanted to try and do the bonus missions, atleast, this was my experience.

Ele are now a thing of the past at SF cos they don't deliver enough damage to a character quick enough, and also with the new updates using meteor will only cause the enermy to run away and avoid your meteor :(

The in thing is Minion Masters and Spitful Spirit Casters.

Sanctum Cay onwards is the Desert Missions, to do bonus at elona you need somene to run you, At Thirsty River you have to defeat all bosses within a specific time for bonus, at Dunes you need to kill all bossess and they not that easily achieved if you are a newbie there

Ele is a good solo Ettin and group Queen farming character and useful in Fissure of Woe. Most of the other high level areas currently have other flavour of the month classes. If you want to be sure to get invites practically everywhere, you need to sell your self respect and play a monk.

or if you have a runner with gladiator defence use him as a tank :D

met up with Vexx007 at Yaks Bend after the Surmia & Academy quests... got both bonuses ( 2k exp! :D ) and now just need to clear up the quests at Piken Square before proceeding through Yaks Bend...

funny how Vexx and myself teamed up for a quick quest and the main target was done within 5 secs... :p

EDIT : for the upcoming Factions people here is the full map of the Factions world.

I ran around pointlessly for over 2 hours last night.
Decided that after 2 weeks of playing every night, that i need to take a break :D

@mccrack - lol... i did see you on the list but thats after midnight when i was done with my tasks... i suppose you will await factions then for a fresh challenge?

:D .... roffel@useless, nah, i just need to get some normality into my life again :D

My body is not very happy with the 4 - 6 hrs sleep i'm giving it....

I cant start Factions until i've finshed Prophecies, and i'm nowhere near completion of Prophecies. The next big quest is the 4K Lions Arch mission for me....

i plan to get my mesmer there by either tonight or tomorrow evening... thats going to be a tough one... ;)

My opinion is that the "Villainy of Galrath" quest is not worth the 4000 xp. One can probably do the next two or three missions in a lot less time than it takes to do this quest. Come back and do Villainy when you are all level 20's. Then it is just hard, instead of insane. :D

Hi there guys! Nice game last night.

I STILL have not done Villainy of Galrath with my Ele, so yeah, I agree with gkm, come back later as it is insanely hard. :D

useless, my necro (who's in Yaks) have not even been to Piken Square or Serenity Temple so Im missing a lot of quests. I will only be online on Wednesday and Thursday again to join you.

cool. i will keep the Piken Square and Serenity Temple quests open while in the meantime i do Yaks Bend... hope it wont be laggy again... :(

now that you mention, it seemed only the Yaks Bend portion was laggy.. my instance with the previous quests was quite smooth... weird.

funny how it was smooth inside Yaks Bend... :huh?:

Well, I had no real problems anywhere with lag last night, and Im on 56k. I only had the occasional lag spike but thats normal :)

whats the best way to stop Ettin from healing themselves with their Heal Signets? Backfire doesnt work. Diversion seems the best to delay their healing signet or Ignorance?
